External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup on Wednesday announced that French President Francois Hollande will be the Chief Guest at the 67th Republic Day celebrations. "We look forward to welcome him warmly in India", Swarup added. This will mark the fifth instance of a French leader being Chief Guest at the celebrations, the maximum from any nation as of yet.
